@gungagin REALLY?

Hey Spamin8r - it isn't war unless congress sez so - read the constitution, though nobody in the white house seems to have done so. If this congress had any guts they'd impeach the shrub and the whole clique of greedy, incompetent nutcases of the most corrupt regime in US history. So tragic that our brave servicemen and women (and the US economy) have to pay the price for Bush/Cheney's delusional mania.

absolutley right...hes in the good ol' boys club...they don't investigate themselves...this is a people matter!!!

arrest him!
-
You are an ass and should be ingnored as such.

The new congress has had more than 60 investigations into oil companies. That's what they've been doing! Not governing! Anyway Rove knows he's getting pardoned. Congress can seriously go to hell. Ever notice how there's always a bunch of idiot liberal protesters sitting right behind conservatives at these hearings? You never see conservative protesters...maybe that's because we have jobs! I wouldn't show up either :)

Nor is separation of church and state. Executive privilege is defined with the separation of powers. Lately the Congress and Judiciary have been making clearly unconstitutional power grabs-yet no complaints. For example: FISA courts= unconstitutional; Supreme Court ruling allowing unlawful combatants habeas corpus=UNCONSTUTUTIONAL! The Constitution gives wide latitude to the executive branch in time of war. Furthermore, the judiciary has NO constitutional power to CONDUCT war.

The concept of executive privilege is not mentioned explicitly in the United States Constitution.

This is the business of the people. That fat tub of lard ignored a supoena to appear before Congress and he ignored it. He should be tracked down and brought back to the U.S. in shackles.
Rove, Bush, Powell, Rumsfeld, Rice are WAR CRIMINALS ans should be tried as such.

I guess the Senate Judiciary Committee will continue to consider its options, all the way until the statute of limitations runs out.
