whats interesting about sexism is that alot of comes from other women. When you view different experiments and studies, you see that women discriminate against other women more then men do. Thats an aspect of sexism that needs to be highlighted to make any real progress.

Dear ladies, why would you want to compete and compare to men ? If your goal in life is to beat a man's score in EVERY possible field... go ahead. If that makes you happy. But after you did it and end up alone don't whine, please. And no, it is not because "Men are scared of strong women"... it is because they want a woman, a mother of their childs. So please, be delicate, be fragile, be affectionate, be tender, be a WOMAN.... or.. you can go for the "G.I. Jane" award... and "sit on the table"

i can't tell if this is sarcastic... if not, did you even watch the speech?

Listen to what? her only comment was "Another Man....". She refuted nothing I said, nor did she add anything. And, you and I are only assuming shes a she, we dont know.
Please don't bother with the white/male privilege bs. In Japan, theres no university telling students they oppress others with the intrinsic privilege of being japanese in japan.
Sexism does exist. I think you trying to defend a comment like "Another man" is a great example.

The "you must be a man" is actually a valid comment. You're making statements on how women are being treated in society, something you as a male know nothing about because you've never experienced life as a female. If a woman rejects your comment on it, you should listen- because she speaks from experience and is a first-hand witness. It's the same with race, a white person will never know what it's like to live in this society as a POC. People should recognize their own privilege.

I'm sorry, but you are taking your own personal thoughts and stating them as truth. What you are saying here, not true. "Society is far more sexist towards men then towards women." I'm sure you're an intelligent human being, and know that this isn't true. I know men experiences difficulty as well that need to be dealt with, but there's really no denying that women historically and today are the more oppressed sex. And that's not an opinion, it's a fact.

There need to be more inspirational women like her. I'm not saying she's a good role model for everyone, but for those who want to get in business, role models like her are hard to find.

This has no bearing on whether she merits the title of "role model" for women. I'm sure it differs for everyone, but growing up I didn't filter my role models based on how much help they had getting to where they were, but rather on what they represented to me. Here is a successful, professional female among a minority of the nation's C-level executives. This is an accomplishment to learn from and to admire. Should she silence herself because she had a supportive, connected family? I say no.

Also, I can't believe the denials of sexism in the first place. The Heidi/Howard experiment makes that obvious! I've met people who are male versions of myself and they are ALWAYS treated better. If you don't believe it, that's because you've never experienced yourself!
