Alan Craig describes both sides of London. The city of London, the financial hub of London and the world. The west end. Thriving bustling city with great corporations. Alan explains his experience and success in business. He also explains the grinding poverty of London, with it's debt, drugs and alcohol abuse. Teenage crime and fear on the streets . He explains how most people like to view London, with the glamour and final success of the city. Alan wants to show support to the other side of London, which gets regularly neglected. This is one of the issues Alan Craig wants to highlight in his campaign.

1. Vote for The Christian Choice for London Assembly.

2. Give your 1st Vote to Alan Craig for London Mayor on May 1.

  • It's good to have a candidate for Mayor of London that has lived at both ends of the financial spectrum.

That must make him more aware of what affects all Londoners.

  • He gets my second vote

  • London is a great city and has so many complex cities within a city. The rich really live next to the poor in London, many affluent areas right next to deprived areas. Amazing mix of history, culture and may it grow into a good example for the rest of the world.

  • He fogot to say that it was politicians who demolished the filthy tenament buildings in East London, but it was also politicians who replaced them with new tenements, but changed their name to tower blocks with inside loos and central heating. I have yet to hear a politician who wants to build proper housing for families and people and rent and maintain them responsibly. There are many families who will, in return, keep their houses tidy, neat and well maintained.

  • There's so many poor in London - you see them everywhere. They don't need you to patronize them, old chap. How stupid do you think people are?

  • mmmm 2 secretaries...

Anyway: decentralisation, less tall buildings, (less density and concentration of crime, easier management).

    Good school system (prevention),

OLED illumination (Saves lots of money), like in Ann Arbor Michigan.

Linux/Open Office/Open Source software in the public offices (secretaries don't need expensive Windows licenses to type boring stuff).

  • ALH
