I heard from Brennan today .. he's back home and has no memory of the incident, he believes he most likely fell asleep because he hadn't been to bed yet. I'm accepting that.

Thanks for posting your account of the accident, and for the link to your blog. So many people were on the road at that time of the morning, and no one else was injured. That's the most amazing part of the whole ordeal.

@radicalrant The most amazing thing is that he survived and that none of us were harmed, I'm glad he's going to be ok and I'm glad the rest of us made it out without injury. There were far more people on the road than the video shows. there were several cars right along side and behind the officer who captured the wreck.. I don't believe in miracles, but if I did.. this would be one.

What we see here is a POLICE CRUISER driving the POSTED speed limit along with everyone else on the road.

That reckless kid was driving over 100MPH!!!!!

Why was he driving at 100+MPH?

If he fell asleep that's one thing, I can see how he'd drift off the road. But to say he was traveling at that speed while asleep?!? IF he was asleep, he would've awakened as SOON as his tires hit the shoulder due to the noise. He could've turned the wheel at least a little bit! In the video, he was driving straight with no deviation of his course.

Sorry. I don't buy it.

The idiot was going 120! Even if traffic was going 70MPH he would've comeup on them so fast no one could have moved over fast enough. Come on dude, use a little comoon sense!
