Tommie Turvey Movie Horses Rose Parade 2011 Appearances

Tommie Turvey and his movie horses along with Mike Loades from the History Channel, Sammi Hanratty and Odd Job Bob, the stars of "the Greening of Whitney Brown" . Tommie is roman riding his Paint Horses Joker and Ace (featured in the opening ceremonies of WEG), Blade the mustang (from Episode 1 of the Walking Dead series on AMC), Pokerjoe (World Famous trick and Breyer horse) and Landau Carriage with Peter Hopkins of United Infrared. This is their first appearance in the Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA.

We had all of this covered in our media sheet but the announcers didn't follow it too well or get the correct memo. Pokerjoe was being ridden by Mike Loades who can be seen on the History Channel, Military Channel and Discovery for his history expertise, and Blade was being ridden by a LA Stuntman named Blake Pocquett (Blade and Blake). Sammi Hanratty was riding Odd Job Bob. She was between Blade and Pokerjoe. thanks for the question....
