  • Damn near HD quality. Surprising, coming from a tape. What hardware and software did you use? I have a bunch of medical examining how-to tapes I want to rip.

  • @Wargoat6 I didn't rip this. I grabbed it from usenet or somewhere else a year or two ago, and uploaded it from that.

  • Who would you say is more reputable? This man or Ignatius Piazza of Front Sight?

  • @BlueCollarSurvival I haven't ever trained with either person, but just from what I know about both, I think Mr Ayoob has a better reputation. Mr Piazza, as awesome as his training may be, comes across - to me - like a goddamned used car salesman. Maybe that's just the tone in his emails, but he strikes me that way. Very annoying.

  • Holy shit that intro Is so early 90s.

  • @wtfdudenotcool101 A different example. If someone breaks into my house and comes at me with a baseball bat , I am not going to drop my gun and go looking for a bat of my own.

I meant that police fall under the same laws we do, even if they are applied differently. The military or non-civilians do not.

  • @nbadhorse No they do not. Here's an example.

    Police may use NECESSARY force.

The civilian may only use EQUAL force.

To illustrate, a fender bender occurs between an officer and a man. The man punches the cop. The cop may use a baton to subdue the man.

A fender bender occurs between two men and one man use that same baton to subdue someone punching him. He's going away for 2-20 years for aggravated assault.

Same exact situation. Totally different outcomes.

  • It really annoys me when I hear law enforcement and civilians used as two seperate things. Unless you are in the military you are still a civilian. A police officer is subject to the same laws as anyone else. The military falls under the UCMJ.

  • @Wargoat6 HD quality? Don't watch much true HD do ya?

  • @MrScott001313 Thats kinda like saying, "You cant be a good astronomer unless youve been to outer space". Im not trying to give you a hard time though. If you want to shoot holes in his advice, Id like to hear what you have to say. But if youre just going to complain about his credentials or lack there of its not very convincing. What bad advice does he give?

  • Holy 80's

  • Nice how you were kind enough to upload the FBI warning against copying/reproducing the tape 0.o

  • Thank you, thank you Andrew for posting this series on Masaad Ayoob.

  • Police reserve Captain with a very small agency... Excellent writer, salesman, speaker and competition shooter.
