I like that there's a Father figure and he's fun, but why not include a mom? It appears as a single parent home and absent of the usual PTA sense of community. I would have liked to see parents interacting with other concerned parents at a PTA meeting. The spot could have ended with the family walking across a park or coming out of a library or school building, an extra 10 or 15 seconds would reach a more diverse demographic and deliver a stronger message... "Get Involved."

As PTA grows, we aim to communicate with every type of family. This particular PSA targets dads and promotes involvement, bucking the traditional role.

Well I love it! When I was cast in the spot as the father and met the kiddies I knew it was going to be fun. I see too many kids out in the streets these days instead of inside spending time with their families, so maybe this will encourage a father somewhere to say "Hey I want to have fun with my kids!" And I am the coolest TV dad since Danny Tanner and Cliff Huxtable!

1st - good performance by the dad and kids. Subject matter hit the mark about SPENDING QUALITY TIME and holding that child ACCOUNTABLE for the homework. It's good you are targeting with this dad initiative and it's believable. Now, how about creating some fun videos that would include RECRUITING YOUNG YOUTHFUL PARENTS and HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (PTSA) as that's who will be our new upcoming PTA LEADERS. Just sign me...an old PTA'er that is ready for the youth to come on board!
