http://www.amazingjules.com On March 6, 2010 Stew Shaw's daughter Jules heard for the first time those resounding words "You Are An Ironman!" at Taupo, New Zealand. But while waiting for her to stop the clock at exactly 16:12:00 after the Swim/Bike/Run, a truly inspired Stew jumped on his rusty old bike, grabbed a cell phone and recorded a couple of grainy tribute clips just before dark in Brisbane, Australia. Includes Ustream footage of Jules literally jumping across the finish line. You can see her times near the end of the video. Congratulations!

Hey, great video! Love it. I finished just under 14 hours, then went back to watch the last 75 mins of the race. And I remember watching her jump! The party in Taupo is something special, so need to come watch her race next year.

Gee fantastic that you competed and posted that time - hope you were satisfied with it, I would have been for sure. Yes, after only being able to "experience" the race remotely via Ustream my wife and I are going to have to start following the circuit too. So the Carbo party's not just for competitors then?

Dave do you mean the flipcam holder-thingy you use from your SUV when you're recording vids while driving on the freeway/turnpike? [is that legal?]

I f I still had my welder I could fabricate an extension arm to stick out about a yard in front of the bike!

P.S. You need a Flipcam with a flexible tripod. It would make your ride a little easier. lol
