  • Let me guess, you are a acoustic player and maybe a Jazzman right ? It was good but I prefer performed with a pik, Joe Pass and Brian May have a different color's sounds. By the way, I love your guitar (^_^)v LP are my prefery model.

  • Yes , you are right, I´m coming from the classical guitar. I didn´t have any intention to "copy" Brian May, just wanted to play this beautiful song in my way. I can read so often "it´s not like the original" and I have to say, that I don´t want to be like the original.... despite that, thanks a lot for your comment.

  • HI, which pickups do you use? I cannot get that sound from a Les Paul, please help me!

  • Hi, I´ve used my Les Paul Standard with the original pickups (P90). The signal was sent through an effect unit (Behringer V-Amp2) using only distortion and delay and the built-in amp simulation of a Marshall Amp with a 4-speaker-cabinet. In the video here I´ve played an Epiphone model of my friend Holger with the same effect settings. There is a better mp3-version of this song available, just send an email and I´ll send it to you.

  • It's good. Das ist gut! ;)

  • Danke, Thanks! I´m often asked, what equipment I used to generate the guitar sound, so here it is: I´m playing an original Les Paul Standard (on the video I used an Epiphone of friend of mine), as effect I use a Behringer V-Amp2 (settings on request) and it was recorded directly into my computer with the simulation of a VOX AC-30. The sound of my original version is much better, so if you wanna get it, just emial to me.
