OK, MetalForceFive is back after a long hiatus in the wilderness of technical issues. This is the first of three videos we will probably produce in the next month or so, and it is a doozy.....a side project that the drummer and one of the guitar players and I got involved with. I know what you're thinking..."hey Rob, I thought you would not play this tune?". True, but when it comes to collborations, it is far harder for me to say no...and to get into the spirit of things, I even learned and performed the keyboard part for this recording.

Satchbooggy and Scream4Vengeance are not featured in this video due to technical difficulties and the song being an instrumental, respectively.

This video has links to the actual video as well as the mf5 channel so those interested can subscribe and be the first to know the new vids without having to get there via a trailer like this one.

In a couple fo weeks, I will release a bass-only video of this tune. the audio will be much the same (maybe a little bass boosted to make it clearer), but the video will feature all of the footage I sent in to the video editor (TheDrumChannel).

Here is the link to the video in case you miss it:

...also, for those patient enough, this video has a secret bonus.

  • I would love to see you do Roundabout by Yes..that would be pretty epic, you've got the skill/ Rickenbacker.

  • ...and the pick, too!

  • Another entertaining mortal. I have seen his other videos, and in doing so I have noticed that this one plays Death Metal with sufficient brutality and skill. That is good....even though we have not signed his bass-playing soul to everlasting Hell in the Pit (which is regrettable), he still pays us homage through his music.

You are on Spazzmodeus' radar, mortal. Beware.

  • ummmm....ok

  • Yeah, I'm actually not the biggest fan of the pick sound with most bassists, but Chris Squire is one of my exceptions. So good, and such a melodic player. Really brought out the best in the Rickenbacker, like Paul McCartney.

  • RIP Rob

  • Would love to do that one too!

  • lmao

  • It'll be a while before I can thin about it. Later Rush (after Presto) is on WMG, and the WMG videos have not come fully back yet, even though a deal has been signed and they will return eventually.
