Bar-10 and EdGi Barrel Problem FIXED!!!

Many people have had difficulty with putting their new EdGi 6.01mm tightbore barrel into their Bar-10. This is because the EdGi barrel is too wide to fit into the end cap hole. EdGi designed his barrels after the older type end cap and with the newer bar-10s, the barrel doesn't fit. This is the way you do it.

No, this only enlarges the hole. It doesn't interfere with the threading at all

If I get a systema bucking (and removed the mound inside) and an scs spacer, would range be better with a 650mm barrel or a 510mm barrel. I would be using the gun for everything from woodland to cqb, so accuracy at range while still maintaining manouverability for cqb is important.

The barrels are the new steel prometheus clone barrels by matrix.

To tell you the truth, 510mm would be better. People think the longer your barrel is, the more accurate your gun is. That's not entirely true. At these lengths, the longer barrel will only improve your accuracy by only a little, stick to the shorter one.

If you are a true airsofter and a true airsoft sniper, I would recommend either the EdGi or PDI. EdGi is a wonderful barrel with porting and PDI is also equally as wonderful but without the porting. Only get laylax if you don't feel like spending money. EdGi is the perfect sniping barrel but is nothing without a good hop-up bucking and bbs. Same goes for the other barrels. It will enhance ur fps and accuracy but with the hop-up and bbs, you'll be spot on everytime.

ur bipods are backwards they r suppose to face the target when folded up just trying to help plus this makes it easier to reload if they r folded

@RICEKING212 Very true, lots of people think that longer barrels make guns more accurate. It is the consistency of the inner bore which makes a gun more accurate.

I want to replace my muzzle cap with a new one. I got a jg bar 10 also, and on mine the cap is a piece of crap plastic. When I tried to take it off, it wouldn't unscrew, so I took pliers to it to try and get some more leverage and that just destroyed the plastic. Any ideas on how I could get the cap off without ruining the barrel and the threading inside of it?

this video is all wrong. the barrel doesnt fit b/c the barrel is 5mm longer than stock. not wider. you can buy a custom endcap from polarstar.
