The War in Georgia - Aug 09 2008

The death toll is rising as fighting continues in the breakaway Georgian province of South Ossetia, with the latest reports saying that more than 1,500 lives have been lost.

Al Jazeera's Jonah Hull, reporting from Gori, Georgia, said the city is under aerial attack from Russian fighter jets.

Jonah Hull's report was awarded 'Story of the Year' by the Foreign Press Association in London on November 25, 2008.
