Tom Hanks narrates the epic story of the 9/11 boatlift that evacuated half a million people from the stricken piers and seawalls of Lower Manhattan. Produced and directed by Eddie Rosenstein. Eyepop Productions, Inc.
BOATLIFT was executive produced by Stephen Flynn and Sean Burke, and co-directed by Rick Velleu. It premiered on September 8th at the 9/11 Tenth Anniversary Summit: Remembrance/Renewal/Resilience in Washington. The Summit kicked off a national movement to foster community and national resilience in the face of future crises. its good to see so many people coming together like this to help, but if America had not been occupying and bombing Iraq for the last 10 years then maybe they wouldn't have found the need to come over and help bush blow up the trade centered, think about this as retaliation for bush's attempted genocide on a nation

The enduring spirit of the american people is one like no other in this world. In times of destruction and desperation we become brothers and sisters. Politics, race, and religion mean nothing. Its an amazing thing.

these are the heros of 911. do you see what we could accomplish when americans work together?? when noone is of higher status , we r all equal ? amazing things happen when we all come together and help those in need. the only thing good that happened on 911 is that new yorkers worked together and helped each other. no one was left behind GOD BLESS NEW YORK AND GOD BLESS AMERICA <3
