NYCTA Exclusive! : On-Board NovaBus LFS Articulated 1200 On The Bx12 +Select Bus Service+ Part Two

The newest articulated bus to be in revenue service!

These clips are not my best and there will be better clips to come ASAP. These recordings were taken on March 8th, 2010. I delayed the uploads so I can upload the clips from the Upper East Side.

The MTA has ordered 90 NovaBus LFS Articulated buses in which they would be delivered to The Bronx & Manhattan, Gun Hill & 126th Street are supposed to be receiving these buses, Gun Hill for +Select Bus Service+ Bx12 service & 126th Street for the M15.

NovaBus LFS Articulated buses 1200 and 1203 are on MTA Property at the Gun Hill Depot with more on the way. 1201 is at 126th Street Depot soon to be testing on the M15

The powertrain on 1200, 1201 & the rest of the upcoming NovaBus LFS Artics is the following

Cummins EPA 10 ISL9
ZF EcoLife 6 AP 1200 B

@PATJonesy - I think the bus only had its fans on, the A/C would've made it louder. but then again, this bus has a roof HVAC now.

BTW this bus does sound abit similar towards a Citaro

Nice vid and I agree the upholestry sucks! Vancouver just got 2009 nova hevs and 3rd gens and we got vynal on our seats and they're comfy! Also it's easy to cleen!
