can the rs-7000 pitch samples up and down as well?

first i got reason with recycle. didn't like the the export import flow. then i got the rs and just like you it took me like 2 hours to sample something.. Then i got the mv8000 and it was a sampling miracle but everything else sucked.. now i'm back to a pc with a bunch of controllers like the apc40 and maschine and i will never go back to a hardware sequencer. It just takes to much time pushing like 30 buttons before you got something done...
