It's so common with health care professionals that people don't talk about it much. The priest thing just sound so bad it gets talked about more.

You could easily find a bunch of dirt for any profession, it's not fair to pick on psychiatrists. And saying "oh I googled other professions to find abuse cases and there was not as many as in psychiatry" is not a legitimate argument. I could write a story right now about a fake psychiatrist who abused nonexistent patients and post it on the internet.

Part of the problem is to many people don't question authority. Often they are preconditioned to believe in some ones authority simply because they have a degree.

Many psychiatrists seem to be brain dead when it comes to truly understanding whats healthy and what isn't. To have problems is human. To really get screwed up often requires a psychiatrist.

I think sex is fine as long as both sides is agreeing with it even tho the profession gets in the way. I think it is possible to fall in love with a patient and if not then sex is just good with that person. It just has to be done in honesty and fidelity.
