thinking about the gunlaws, he said that "ill give you my gun, if you give me yours" in many european nations the police is not alowed by law to carry guns. I would think that if you wanted to abolish guns in USA, you would have to say that the police can't carry guns as well, and then you would have to make a draft system, so that the army is made up by the people, not hired goons.
in norway the police have guns in their cars, but they have to get special permision to get it out.

@0o0o0oh How about knives or people trained in martial arts? There are always weapons you idiot, with a few pieces of steel and some BASIC chemistry you can make guns, EASILY. People like you think of a gun as some kind of alien material that can only be produced by the heartless and abundantly wealthy arms manufacturers, its a joke.
Guns kill like 1/10th the people cars, booze, cigarettes OR FATTY FOODS do so learn perspective. there are 40 times the preventable deaths in those 4 things.

@0o0o0oh WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Before the gun was invented we were putting holes AND SHRAPNEL in each other, we have been doing it since before we could think, probably breathe AIR. You are either a moron or are under 15 because you have a LOT to learn. Grenades predate guns and the most superficial look at the history of weapons SHOULD make you embarrassed for saying something as stupid as this.
You also entirely ignore the point that THEY WILL PUT THEM IN YOU IF YOU DON'T SUBMIT.

@0o0o0oh "I am a complete douchebag who is incredibly long winded and couldn't put a quote together to save my life."

@0o0o0oh Tell that to the Jews in Germany, the blacks in the south or any other oppressed group anywhere.
"too stupid to understand the feedback loop of (potential) violence they are creating in society at large "
Maybe your too stupid to see the right people have to private property and the means to defend it? Maybe your too stupid to realize that you are arguing against the core assumption of the US government? That people are inherently competent and good and therefor worthy of rights?

@0o0o0oh Go watch what happened to the Branch Davidians and the ONE FAMILY at Ruby Ridge. Tanks and helicopters assaulting a building with children inside, while they knew it. Shooting a mother in the head with a sniper rifle while she was holding her baby? How about shooting a teenager with a gun IN THE BACK AND KILLING HIM AS HE RAN AWAY?
"political science" you say? That really shows how brain-dead you are, science and politics are like oil and water. You can't test politics scientifically.

@0o0o0oh The problem is YOU, AS AMERICANS, DO NOT IN-ACT ANY CHANGE. The same shit has been going on for over a century, you watch your rights slip away and suck your thumb while believing anything your "liberal" demagogues speak. The facts are in and gun control helps criminals. If you want to talk about modernity then maybe you need a new governmental system, go try living in CUBA DOUCHEBAG.

@Seiku Break off a piece of America for liberty, or wait for the civil war. The freestateproject is a good idea worth checking out.

Is that why crime is lower in states which allow concealed carry? Is that why Florida saw a 20% drop in crime when they passed such laws...and why DC saw a similar reduction upon the repeal of the handgun ban? (According to the US Department of Justice)
Silly attachments have a big impact on crime don't they?
Unfortunately they are not. Most of the time spent in law school is spent studying admiralty law not common law. They have classes, almost as an adjunct, on common or constitutional law but most professors try to explain it away not teach what it really means.
