great idea, but is there a way around having to manually set the root key for each kick individually? it's a really annoying job when you have a 100+ in there...
-
how do you cycle through the presets in the juno 60 vst?
-
@MrMelvi87 Put 127 kick samples into 1 folder and then access them from the sidebar library. Once you have accessed that folder on Ableton click and drag so that you have selected all 127 of them. Then click the zone tab so that you can see all of the zones available on the sampler and drag 1 sample into the space. All 127 samples will now have fallen into the sampler. Then hit the 'Sel' button in the zone window, right click the first blue bar and select 'Distribute Ranges Equally' .

Its not really clear how your sampling 127 kicks then transfering that into the drum rack. It looks like a good method but I have no idea how your doing it. My sampler only takes one kick at a time.

@AKut1710. You have to click the zone button on the sampler and then click the SEL button. Right click over the orange marker and map to macro 1-8. Whatever one you want. Did that help you?

@LucasLoop2k11 I used TAL Electro and TAL Juno-60. They are both free to download.

How do you do to select the kicks with the "red and blue" kick selectors?
I started ton insert all my kicks into the sampler is it right? then what do i have to do?
Thanks
how can i eq 2 kicks at the same time? and how can i play one kick which triggers another kick etc?

@TSDREX Basically what you do it expand the midi track channel strip and you should see both samplers. you just drag and drop eq's into the expanded sub tracks. If that doesnt make sense to you, just go to the drumrack and select a sampler that you dropped on one of the drum rack pads and drop the eq to the right of the sampler instrument.
