  • @Huqe thanks fot the translation dude!

  • "It's healthy to keep a break if you can't proceed, if you're getting stuck on a song or something else.. it's better to do something else then. Sometimes you get so stuck, even couple weeks or a month, then when you start playing again, you have a completely new idea in your mind again."

    08:26

Interviewer: "What's the best thing that you can get out of music and playing at this moment?"

R:"Well, gigs bring pleasure, sometimes playing rolls so well it feels like electricity flowing thru fingers"

  • @Huqe

"this opera hassle for example, this has been incredible thing to do.

Well I don't know, guess it could be nice to see Waltari getting a little more success so we could do cooler stage shows... it has potential, it can be developed further."

    6:54

Roope: "You train something else and forget guitar for a while.. me for example, if I keep a week-long break from guitar I get feelings of remorse when it doesn't really start to roll.. that makes a man feel down. "

  • Interviewer: "Do you consider to be more of a project maker or someone who can be asked to play anything anywhere?"

Roope: "I woudln't want to be a Jack-of-all-trades, I don't dig that stuff. I only do stuff that interests me.

This really isn't a big moneymaker, sometimes I have to do something just to get my living. I'm doing this stuff just for fun."

Interviewer: "Is there a dream that you haven't accomplished in music?"

Roope: "Well I don't know, hard to say, this opera hassle f.example.."

  • From 2:45

"I've been playing guitar actively for the last 14 years, more or less.. It's kind of a bad thing that I can't listen to music as music anymore since doing this.. everything goes through a filter"

"If you wouldn't have became a guitarist, what would you be now?"

    "A pilot"

    "Why?"

"Well it's a little boys dream.. I might consider this if this guitaring starts to 'taste like wood'

If something makes you frustrated, you might consider not doing it anymore...

  • "One riff can include more melody than a whole song, so taking inspiration from them is worth it. Even from a brief sample of classical song you can find lots of things..

Then there's punk of course, it belongs to this... one must have attitude, it's important."

  • "When I was 11, my mother reported me to a music academy in Espoo. I started to play classical guitar under the teaching of Kari Äikäs. Played it 5 years.. I've continued playing it after that every now and then. I never cared about jazz though.. but I take influence from classical music, trying to figure out new riffs, trying to make something new. I don't want to copy riffs from others..

  • Needs english subtitles imo :)

  • Se on hyvä lausunno että ... kitarasoolo on kun seikailu.. Näin se aina on:))))

    Kitarasoolo pitää olla semmoinen!!!!

  • @lstarbuck20 Oke... Have fun duder :)
