@ultrabeastmode I love Walther. The two guns I have (PK380 and P22) are just flawless. The P22 has been shot quite a bit and I didn't start by shooting CCI mini mags, I used the crappy stuff. With the exception of .22 being a bad-primer ammo, the gun functions great. The PK380, I have nothing but good things to say about it.

My wife has bad arthritis and can carry and shoot this pistol no problem. The only issue she has is that it doesnt have the load device built into the magazine like the P22 does. So, I just got her a Baby Uplula. Now she can load it no problem.
So for all women looking at getting something, this is a great option. Caliber doesn's matter as much as practicing and getting proficient with it does. A .22lr bullet center mass is better than a miss with a 9mm or .40.

i have had the same problem with .22 pistols ive never like the styling of them to much been looking for something that closer resembles the style of the bigger calibers and this is a nice one i like it a lot i have held them and shot one a little they are nice my mom likes the feel of the walthers looking for a ccw handgun and .380 is not a bad one i would like to have one in a 9mm that nice

Respond to this video... @ultrabeastmode (con't) the only issue I had WAS the ammo. My fiance's P22 had a little trouble with the cheaper ammo...well, anything that wasn't CCI MiniMags...so I don't know if it's a flawed design or what, but try to find a used one that has been broken in a little. It will give you less hassle.

@ultrabeastmode I am glad you are thinking about the P22, and so is she. Word to the wise, if you purchase one, try to find an older model. I have had mine for close to five years now, and my fiance has a newer version (I think mine is an A model, his is a B model....maybe that's just with the magazines....not completely sure) but I started target shooting mine with all the bad ammo I could find...the cheap $2 .22lr, and literally shot all the "dirty" ammo I could. Never had a problem...
Did you ever make a follow up video to this? I cant find it. I'm trying to decide between a P22 and the PK380 for my wife. She's new to shooting and fell in love with the way the P22 felt in her hand. Does it feel the same or no? It will be a CC gun for her so I'm trying to find out if the P22 is just the better way to go for a first time gun for her. Thanks for the video.

@sacrifice4liberty my advice, she should go with the PK380 for a CC gun. Two reasons: .380 being a centerfire round will be more reliable than a rimfire .22 in a defensive situation; secondly the PK380 has very little recoil. (not that the P22 does by any means!) My choice would be the PK380, bigger round, more reliable cartridge, and little recoil. Good Luck!

Good review and very helpful. As a first time gun buyer and a female, I wanted a gun that was effective, yet didn't want the recoil to break my wrist off, so I went with the 380 and I really like it. Reliable gun, haven't had a problem with it yet.

@pancakehead911 Glad to help, I have always had good luck with Walther, and never had an issue. They make a solid firearm. One of the best things about the PK380 is that it has all the comfort of a full size pistol, but still carries like a conceal carry. You are able to target shoot and hardly get tired or have the recoil kill your hand after a few shots. I am glad you are enjoying yours, keep in touch!
