Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Spider-Man's Ultimate Web Throw: How to Land It

Just a quick vid on how to properly use/connect Spider-Man's Ultimate Web Throw. To give a run-down/summary of it:

- Cannot be connected from Ground to Ground
- Can be used from Ground to Air
- Can be used as an Anti-Air
- As soon as the opponent touches the web in the air, they're caught.
- Can be Combo Reset into effectively using Spidey's Web Swing

Commands:

L, M, H, S, Air M, Air M, Air H, L Web Swing, Air M, Air M, Air H. Wait until you hit the ground and the opponent recovers. As soon as the opponent attempts to recover, do Ultimate Web Throw.

the only way to actually kno if this will work if u put the dummy the dummy on auto block, n im ppl would block this all the time

As stated in the comments, we all know you can block the combo, but the Web Throw itself is unblockable for a fact. The combo is blockable. Web Throw is not as it's a Throw.

I was wondering why I litterily was as close as possible to sentinel and I shot a Ulti. Web throw RIGHT IN HIS FACE and it didnt work. Hey Capcom, THIS IS WHY DEFINITIONS FOR ATTACKS IS A GOOD THING

Had that same issue myself, which is why I investigated and experimented with it. The web clearly hit them and doesn't do anything. I'm left with a "WTF" reaction. lol.

Yes. In fact, I'd venture to say it works BETTER in a corner.

well for the spiderman fans i learned a way to use him very succesful as a sentinel destroy web zip up to any big opponent thors height or taller and u can combo cancel right in they face and land infinites thns to web zip u do this by pressing square and x on ps3

A interesting method, but with one fundamental flaw. On thing you neglect to mention is that if the opponent air recovers backwards, this Ult. Web Throw set up won't connect. And if you attempt this tactic on a cornered opponent, they can can avoid the Ult. Web Throw by air recovering forward. An experienced opponent wouldn't likely fall for this set-up.
