  • what pickup did you use in the neck position? or how did you get it to look like that? And if you can remember, what sizes of tape did you use?

PLEASE reply, i'm working on one of these myself and this would really help. Thanks

  • @dagbuss123 I can't remember the pickup I used, but I know I painted it myself. As for the sizes for the tape - they're all different. I blew up an image of the frankie on a program and calculated each size independently.

  • the white paint is not actually wrong... with age it will change slightly to the slightly yellowed creamy color. just thought you should know that if it pisses you off so much. anyway what was the name of the shade of red you used???

  • @guitargod1598 Apple Red by Rustoleum I believe

  • Hey, has anyone seen a vid where somewhere in it someone goes over to 5 or 6 black and white frankenstrat bodys that are stacked up, and they were about to go to be taped and painited red, the reason that i want to fid the vid is beecause i am building a bass

that wolfgang uses, and i want to be able to get it perfect, so i need to ge the scratshes and paint wears right.

  • Great job dude, looks awesome!

  • @drdezz What did u do to the bridge pickup to make it look worn? And what did u do to the cavities and neck pickup also. Thanx bro

  • well in that case, have you got a wiring diagram i cannot be fucked finding one on the internet please respond.

  • Nice job... Mine had that pickup in but it didn't sound anywhere near right. Go figure. I ended up with a Seymour Duncan JB. It sounds better but it's not right maybe a Bareknuckles VH will sort it! At least your striping is spot on... I found out the very thin ones one the original black and white colour scheme were pin stripe tape the day after I sprayed the red on mine! Doh!! By the way, where did you get the body?

  • hey man a word of advice to achieve your cream paint look... Eddie did use white paint but he used poly urethane on it and as you use multiple coats it will look more like a cream. If you do this use this technique use spray poly and not with a brush to avoid uneccassary sanding to get rid of brush marks. Just spray multiple coats let it hang but be sure to spray light coats within about 20-30 min of eachother.

  • you could also use a seymour duncan 59' bridge pickup. Get it on Warmoth .com for 78 bucks :)

  • do you have a brass big block on the floyd rose?

  • What sizes of tape did u use to stripe it? my dad and i are in a rut trying to get answers and i thought i could turn to u for answers. plz reply
