12-string Guitar: A Pittance Of Time (Including lyrics and chords)

Another request, this time from Oscarg936, and again it is for a song that is new to me by an artist who is likewise new to me. A Pittance of Time, written by Terry Kelly is a very poignant song reminding us that there are men and women, often young men and women, who have lain down their lives fighting for their country, (our country), at home and in foreign lands, and still do so today. On Remembrance Day in the British Isles and Commonwealth, and on Veterans' Day in America, it is customary to stand in respectful silence for a period of 2 minutes in remembrance of these fallen heroes. In this song, the author saw a man in a supermarket who did not stop to show this respect, and vents his feelings towards the man in the lyrics of the song.

Lest we forget, the Legion Prayer says it so well:

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

5*^ Awesome cover performance of Terry Kelly's popular song from his 2001 album, The Power Of The Dream. In 2003Terry Kelly was appointed a member of the Order of Canada. Blind since the age of two, he has the distinction of releasing the first ever CD with liner notes in Braille. A portion of the revenues from every album he sells is donated to the World Braille and Literacy Foundation and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Thanks for sharing. :-)
