Karibu Global Village Team Machakos! This is our first trip to the mall in Nairobi. We stopped at the Java House, a popular chain restaurant, for lunch. Then we stocked up at Nakumatt -- or as we like to call it -- the Walmart of Nairobi. Next stop, Machakos for a week of building houses with Habitat for Humanity Kenya.

I hate American Media, with a PASSION! All we ever see of Africa is starving children with AIDS and mobs with guns. People think that the Media in the USA is not Propaganda, but seeing videos like this and the videos of the real Libya, it's easy to see that the Media in the USA is 100% Controlled by the Government. We only see what they want us to see, not what we need to see.

@sevstate I don't know if you live in the USA, but the same exact thing happens here. Except, in the USA, you get robbed of your Mercedes or BMW, not a Suburu or Toyota. Depending on the area you are at in the USA, you can get shot over $5 or for looking at someone the wrong way. The same things happen here... What I was saying about the media in the USA is that they never show us images of THIS Africa, only the starving and dieing Africa.

@TwiztedAnimator very sad to see this. take it easy saying media is controlled by the us gov.go hug a tree or something. trust me their are mobs with guns.you cant even go out at night in nairobi d.t without getting robbed or high jacked. i was there for 2 months and got held up 6 times.also its a risk driving a toyota or subaru and thieves are looking for these cars.pretty sad when you cant even drive a certain car without risking your life

@drsugarcane was born in Nairobi.their is no structure.my friends brother got murdered by people that broke in their house. before you talk smack and say Nairobi is awesome get your shit straight. cops do nothing there and are part of the organized crime. its shameful how ruthless and evil some citizens of Nairobi are. being professional and having order that's how the west won. look at all the NA and European countries they are winning as the used their brains and didn't depend on corruption.
