HT done on a male patient with moderate alopecia by FUE Technique in 2 steps (2401+1331FU's). Medical treatment: finasteride 6 months before the first procedure(2008). Slow growth after the first transplant due to a chronic dermatitis (minoxidil/polyethylene glycol). A second procedure was realised to increase the density, after improving the problems of the scalp. Trasplante capilar realizado por técnica FUE en un paciente con alopecia moderada(2401+1331UF's). Tratamiento médico: finasteride 6 meses antes de la primera cirugía (2008). Crecimiento lento después del primer trasplante con una dermatitis crónica debido al polietilénglicol. Se realizó un segundo tratamiento para aumentar la densidad después de mejorar los problemas del cuero cabelludo. Dr. José Lorenzo. Madrid. España

  • Coverage depends on the texture of the hair (thick), the number of hairs per follicular unit and density. The number of units is not the only reference

  • 3732 FU's for this sort of a result? I'd expect more density and area coverage for anything above 3000 FU's!
