Artspace Commons And Sunlight Solar on RealGreenWorld

www.RealGreenWorld.tv, We are hanging out at the Artspace Commons (one of the properties in the 2011 Utah Solar Tour) talking with Sunlight Solar about the unique Solar awnings that produce both Solar PV and Passive Solar cooling. This project also has a large Solar Thermal installation so they are producing both kind of solar on one project. Artspace is also built on a reclaimed Brown Field and obtained LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC.) This building is home to a number of nonprofit organizations including, HEAL Utah, Black Dog Arts, Wasatch Community Gardens, Save Our Canyons, Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah, Wild Utah Project. The Artspace commons is also home to a number of artist as well as having a wonderful Environmentally friendly Low income housing. This episode is the first in a five part series about the 2011 Utah Solar Tour produced by Utah Solar Energy Association.
