  • Love oatmeal, or porridge as they say here in the UK where I am living. I quite often use Irish oats, Flahavans, and add dried cranberries, cinnamon and maple syrup to mine. Thanks for the film. Oatmeal and cinnamon toast makes a fantastic breakfast.

  • Thee is welcome, Stellamust - thanks for the comment! I have never tried dried cranberries, but will now as soon as I can. I really enjoy all the tasty variations oatmeal accomodates.

  • Well done, QuakerAnne. Oatmeal is a favorite breakfast of mine as well, but I have mine with a little rice milk and salt only (food sensitivities). I sometimes stew some apples and use a few spoonfuls as a topping (also no sugar added).

  • Thanks for the kind thoughts ProgidalReturning! Oatmeal with apples is delicious indeed.

  • Quaker Oatmeal will remind me of this video. I eat amish-quaker type oatmael. THI IS AWSOME! QUAKERS ARE AWSOME! And that Amish.

  • i have never been one to try knew things without a lot of thought and the goat milk idea keeps haunting me to one day try ...but not sure yet ...this certainly has made me hunger for it more ...thanks

  • aw i love the no-blend idea from your irish grandfather! im trying that tomorrow!

  • This was delicious! I've never made oatmeal on the stove before! I never thoughtof putting butter in it, but it gives it a nice touch. I loved all of your other videos, keep up the good work!

  • When you use cranberries, add some to the simmering mixture and then use more as a topping. I also like to top with almonds and grated orange peel. Enjoy.
