The latest Search Engine Marketing news is that Apple has got a new laptop out, the super thin, state of the art, solid state, instantly on MacBook Air- and I want one!

Apple tells us it is the first of a new generation of macbooks which basically dont come with hard disks, but with solid state memory instead.

So lets talk about size - size counts right! the machine is available in two models with an 11 inch and 13 inch screens. It is tapered, 0.68 of inch at its thickest and at 0.11 inch at the front.

The smaller model weighs in at 2.9 lbs, about 150% of the weight of a bag of sugar!

Despite its size it packs a punch of power. Flash storage, power efficient Intel Core 2 Dual Processors, NVidia GeForce 320M graphics and between 128 and 256GB of storage.

With built in WiFI a minimum of 5 hours of battery life - in this model the batteries can be replaced too.

They tell me it all came about from the development of their iphone.
whatever - I want one, even at half the storage of MacBook Pro!
