CORR/PAK MERCHANDISING SPRINT CARS
Dave Dykstra and Chris Durand paced the field to the start of the first Sprint Car feature of 2010 at Ohsweken. Dykstra jumped out to an early lead before the caution flew on lap three for John Riegling, who lost a wheel in turn three. Dykstra once again held the lead out front on the restart, but only three laps were recorded before Jamie Turner spun to a stop in turn three, bringing out another caution.

A longer green flag stretch followed, with Dykstra stretching his lead on the restart. Kevin Job quickly made his way forward from sixth on the grid and utilized the low side of the Speedway to gain on Dykstra, who was still running the cushion. With half the twenty lap distance in the books, Job began to challenge Dykstra on the low side as the two drivers raced through traffic. Job drew up alongside the Dykstra machine, but could not nose ahead.

Having seen Job running the low side, Dykstra moved to the bottom as well, and stretched his lead again during the second half of the race. The race slowed once more on lap eighteen for a spin by defending champ Tom Huppunen in turn four, giving Job one last shot, but Dykstra was too strong on the restart and held on for the win, the second of his Sprint Car career.

"I complained all winter about not having enough motor on the restarts," said Dykstra in victory lane. "My brother-in-law said we would have more power this year, and he was right"

Job, Jared Zimbardi, Dain Naida, and Jim Huppunen rounded out the top five. Kyle Moffit, Jim Huppunen, and Dain Naida claimed the heat race victories for the thirty-one car field, while John Riegling took the win in the Consi.

MOD LITE STARS TOUR NORTH
Ray Sliter, Jr. and Josh Sliter started on the front row for the Mod-Lite feature, but after some early caution flags it was Paul Klager and Rick Brubacher battling over the lead. The two raced side-by-side until the halfway mark, when Klager finally cleared Brubacher and pulled away for the win. Jason Corless, Kellie Mason, Randy Hollingshead, and Brubacher rounded out the top five. Ray Sliter, Jr. and Josh Sliter claimed the heat races for the seventeen car Mod-Lite field.

ESSO THUNDER STOCKS
Ryan Dinning and Mike Thorne started on the front row for the ESSO Thunder Stock feature, with Thorne taking the early lead. For awhile it looked like Thorne might hold on for his second career feature win, but on lap eight, disaster struck as he spun in turn two. Billy Bliech had made his way into the runner-up spot and restarted the race in the lead, with twelfth starter Jamie Cox, Dinning, and Lee Winger giving chase. Those four drivers battled hard for the rest of the twenty lap distance, but Bleich was able to hold on for the win. Mike Thorne and Jeremy Bean claimed the heat races for the nineteen Thunder Stocks in attendance.

ESSO MINI STOCKS
Abel Castelein led the entire distance in the ESSO Mini Stock feature with Trevor Goulding close behind, but did not make it through post-race tech inspection. Goulding was awarded the victory, followed by Kevin Hilborn, Craig Erskine, Steve Hess, and Paul Goodale. Heat races for the nineteen car field were claimed by Castelein and Goulding.

BOMBERS
Karl Sault survived a wild Bomber feature in which he lost the lead and gained it back numerous times, eventually pulling away for the victory. He was chased to the line by Trevor Roszell and Kacey Huffman. Sault and Rodney Rutherford claimed the heat races for the record field of nineteen.
