It's funny how a chocolate stain on a white dress inspired this video. This is not what I planned to say at all, but I digress. For those of you who know me, I rarely wear dresses. Me wearing a white dress was like sending an invite to stains, spills and mishaps everywhere. The stain on my dress, though not a very good look on a 40 year old only represents a mistake I made, it is NOT the sum total of who I am as a person. It's sad that for everything I'm likely to accomplish in my life, a stain on a white dress will be the one thing some people choose to remember about me.
May I suggest to the "PERFECT" people who live in glass houses to get some freaking Windex. At the end of the day, Amy Winehouse is somebody's child. No matter how she died, no matter how she lived, she's not human garbage and her life is certainly not a waste. We are all struggling with something and most of us pretend every day that we aren't one heart break, one paycheck, one court case, one electric bill, or one loss away from falling over the edge! Whatever you struggle with today, Jesus is the rope you can tie a knot around and hang on! Hang on today, all of YOU! Love, April
