Yep, because if you can't even make lyrics that actually work, just mindlessly throw in references and people will be too absorbed in their fan-love to actually judge this song on its own merits.

This is dreck, pure and simple. Uninspired, derivative, nonsensical dreck. It isn't actually about anything, and can't decide if it's a song about one girl, or about game/anime girls in general. It's metaphors are clumsy, and its wordplay is weak.

As a person with favorite bands such as Pavement, Oasis, Radiohead, Integrity, My Bloody Valentine, Bright Eyes, and other "intelligent" bands, I highly enjoy this song and this band.

Why? Because music is allowed to be fun. You think this shit is stupid and then you go and be pretentious about your taste in Skrillex, Wiz Khalifa, and metalcore? Oh fuck off.

It's parody, people!

It's meant to be stupid, just because LeetStreet Boys write spoofs about anime or games, it doesn't make them any different than other parody bands such as The Lonely Island and what they sing about.
