Dana Ward here for Clevver TV and I'm just sayin, these are the top celeb RUMORS, meaning these are not necessarily true statements but they're topics that webcrawlers searched a whole lot about in an attempt to get the truth. Thanks to search engine giant, Ask.com, we're relaying the Top 5.

Let's just say that there was a lot of LIFE behind this crazy rumor list... meaning 2 of the 5 public confusions involve pregnancy. The number-4 rumor questioned if First Lady Michelle Obama is preggers. Notice I skipped number 5 because we're pretty sure we know the answer to that one since it's been all over the media for what seems like forever: Is Robert Pattinson dating Kristen Stewart? Since everyone in the Twilight bubble has been wondering, it certainly classifies as a top celeb rumor for 2009. Rewind back to the summertime for number-3. There was gossip that Lady Gaga was a hermaphrodite, so the Q to appear across the web asked if the singer is a man. Of course, Gaga quickly upstaged that gossip with some fearless and unforgettable award show performances.

Next up on the list, the runner-up, number-2, the public wondered about Adam Lambert's sexuality. At one point, people thought he was heterosexual and it was all an act and then that flipped around completely and basically, the straight up question on the Ask.com post: "is Adam Lambert straight?" And that brings us to the number-1 crazy celebrity rumor of 2009. Miley Cyrus is pregnant. No, I did not just state that as a fact. Once again, it was the major mis-conception of the year. The so-called story was that Miley and Nick Jonas had a love child and it spread like a wildfire across the web. But, of course, it got proved to be false and that's exactly what made it the craziest celeb rumor of the year.
