I know a women that is poor herself yet she has let many homeless people stay at her house. She has taken in people that no one would take in. The churches would send people to her little small house yet no church but one helped her. She had 28 homeless people living in her house at one time. She loves the Lord and she loves helping people. I can't figure out why we have so many churches on just about every street corner yet so many homeless. 1 women's love for God has done more then the church.

I lived in Golden Gate Park and walked ALL of those streets, including many stops in Santa Monica, when I was a little girl. We panhandled and ate out of trash cans. At 6 I was placed in state custody over a domestic dispute in St Anthony's mission. I was mistreated in foster care, but my mother won custody. My life was no better after. I moved to Chicago at 9 and was in state custody again by 13. I was abused for years. Today I'm an educated, married mother of 7! God is good! I have a story!!
