This is all part of my continuing effort to make the voice of homeless people heard. As I am over my 22 months of homelessness I will still make it my business to e a voice of change for all those who are seeking and needing help. Through my Do Something Saturday project i try to help people just like this man here. Please visit my website for details on how you can get involved in helping me help others.

  • I know a women that is poor herself yet she has let many homeless people stay at her house. She has taken in people that no one would take in. The churches would send people to her little small house yet no church but one helped her. She had 28 homeless people living in her house at one time. She loves the Lord and she loves helping people. I can't figure out why we have so many churches on just about every street corner yet so many homeless. 1 women's love for God has done more then the church.

I evaded cop detection, since I was afraid of being adopted. But at age 18, a miracle happened. A man sat with me on a curb side after buying me lunch. He promised that if I apply for a job, I could use his address. So I got a job at mcdonalds, saved money, and by the time I wa

  • @danmarino1970 Yea I lived in TX for 2 years it's so hot in the winters sometimes...

  • I lived in Golden Gate Park and walked ALL of those streets, including many stops in Santa Monica, when I was a little girl. We panhandled and ate out of trash cans. At 6 I was placed in state custody over a domestic dispute in St Anthony's mission. I was mistreated in foster care, but my mother won custody. My life was no better after. I moved to Chicago at 9 and was in state custody again by 13. I was abused for years. Today I'm an educated, married mother of 7! God is good! I have a story!!
