Americans Untied Executive Director Barry W. Lynn and Alan Wolfe discuss Mitt Romney's speech, "Faith in America." This clip appeared on CNN's "Lou Dobbs Tonight" on December 6, 2007.
Barry Lynn and Alan Wolfe were not concerned about focusing on what we have in common, they were concerned about his commitment to follow Jesus Christ (but didn't clarify what that meant) and his lack of commitment to follow the constitution.
Romney was trying to win over the Religious right. IMO that cost him his credibility in being able to do the Presidents job - follow the constitution
Romney said, "Lets get along and focus on what we have in common". This interview said, "We will not get along, we will focus on difference, and where a person gets his beliefs is not relavent."
