This is a video clip of Clay Aiken performing "Where Do I Begin" at the opening of the show of Clay's last stop of the Tried & True Tour in San Francisco, CA on March 12, 2011.

If there's one thing Clay can be counted on at the last concert of a tour, it's that 'something' is going to be different. The opening of the San Francisco concert is no exception. As the voice of Clay Aiken rings out , the stage lights come on and there stands.................Clay's bodyguard, Jerome 'performing' the song.

Soon enough, Clay appears on stage to the sound of laughter; and, the gorgeous voice of one Clay Aiken matches the man standing before his audience.

A Big Thank You to Clacker, Scarlett for capturing the video; and, for providing it for the entertainment of all. The clip has been uploaded to this channel at her request, permission and consent.

  • Wow what a performance I loved this....Thanks for sharing this with us....Wowzers4Clay

  • Love this voice even if it is coming out of Jerome.

  • Best performance yet

  • Loved this in Knoxville. Hope to see this song on a future album.

  • WOW! What a reminder of the spectacular evening at the Warfield! That has got to be one of the best openings that I've seen--we were rolling with laughter yet trying to figure out where Clay was! So great to re-live that Saturday evening past. Acoustics were great, the vocals were outstandingly clear and the concert was incredible,!

  • His bodyguard is enormous! Clay is 6'1"

  • I was there!!! When Jerome walked out I laughed until my sides hurt!!! All night Clay was amazing..between his flawless vocals and his banter I was blown away... What a glorious night!!!

  • Clay Aiken has an AMAZING VOCAL INSTRUMENT. ABSOLUTELY LOVE the way he sings this song. This man is an EXCELLENT ENTERTAINER I have NEVER been disapointed in any concert of his I have attended. He is MOST DEFINITELY worth seeing Live................

  • Clay, loved your delightful shenanigans on this tour, especially closing night in San Francisco...

'Betcha didn't know we had a surprise for you too, though, during the closing song -- sure hope you felt the outpouring of love from fans throughout the audience (and of course, all those folks listening in at the other end too -- "wink")!

  • Go on with your bad self, Clay! Jerome is so funny to do that -- but when Clay walks out -- wow! And the ending -- double wow! Thanks for posting this....
