The story is about a girl is sexually abused my her stepfather. She kills him and is put into a mental institution where other girls, from similar situations, are also kept. Clearly it's a corrupt place if all the girls are sexy and the fact that they put on a show for the men in charge. The dance instructor and a "wise man" teach the girls about manipulating your imagination and using it to its fullest potential, which in this case is escape.
