Prof. Diermeier is the IBM Professor of Regulation and Competitive Practice and Director of the Ford Motor Company Center for Global Citizenship at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He spoke at the May 7, 2008 symposium sponsored by the Media Management Center, Northwestern University, and the J.L. Kellogg School of Management. The symposium was entitled From the Board Room to the War Room and Back: A Symposium on Media and Marketing in Business and Politics. He discusses the increasing difficulty companies have in maintaining the image of their brands.
