  • Hey Thanks !!!

  • I like the opening music where did you get it...NESDEV...lol

  • whoop squeak toy! ha ha

  • If it requires an initial steady light beam, what about using a laser light to reflect for a more pinpoint beam for the solar cell receiver?

  • forest mimms , i wanna PARTY with that dude !

  • i have a few sets if IR sender / revievers , i have been thinking , what could i do with these . hoping maybe you will eventually utilize those !

thanks for your work , i look forward to HAW ! i built my 4th slide synth board , hoping this one works , the first rush job was fine , 2 and 3 were intermittent ! i am trying to a lil nicer "chassis , but keep it small . it looks nice and its LOUD , but after a minute , she rises in pitch and stalls ! cant figure it out , STILL ! heh .

  • 1:33 "Oop, squeak toy!"

Hahaha! Nice project Dino! I read about that same problem Forrest Mims wrote about in the Jameco emails I get. I wasn't familiar with a photophone at the time and did figure it out ;-)

  • Sounds very nice. Did you use any frequency correction at the sending end? Like the media player software's equalizer as a preemphasis? Or is the mass of the mirror to big to resonate at higher frequencies? What did you use the bass pedal for?

  • Great stuff. Can't wait for the next hack.
