Hi Amelia! Thank you SOOO much for all your posts! You have been a tremendous help to me in my preparation for my RNY. I wonder if you know anyone who has diabetes and had the RNY? I have type 2 diabetes, I am also 28, and right around the same weight you started at before surgery. One of my main reasons for having the surgery, in addition to weight loss of course, is the 80% chance to reverse my diabetes. I am very eager to talk to someone who has experienced that.
