Scansione 3D di una statuetta con sonda a contatto. Risoluzione 0,3 mm (x e y), tempo scansione 2h, 32000 punti. Ricostruzione mesh con MeshLab. Programma e controller Colibri-CNC.

ciao, sai se per il controller va bene arduino per questo programma?

@casari4 No, il programma funziona solo con il controller Colibri.

Can you tel some more about what to do in meshlab with the pointcloud? you have to use a filter or something?

Colibri-CNC save the STL file and the ASCII point cloud as .asc file. So
you can load directly the STL file in MeshLab without any need for
filters. In this example we used only the "HC Laplacian smooth" on the
STL file because the original piece was rough (had some bump). The asc
point cloud can be useful if you make several scan in different angles,
here you can use Marching Cubes filters (Point Set) to reconstruct the surface with MeshLab.
