From the thickness of the strings seen at 0:25
it can only be a Fender Bass VI played through some kind of fuzz box.

I think that's a Fender Bass VI he's playing, they looked just like a Jaguar. I can't get a good enough look at the headstock to tell. Glen Campbell used one for Wichita Lineman.
