And while I'm at it...how come the Academy didn't invite Timothy to the award ceremony before this? He was James Bond in 1987 for Heaven's sake! They should have given him the opportunity to at least be a presenter long before 1992.
He's not even a presenter here. He's merely "arm candy" for Whoopi. Ugh! The injustice of it all! (see my other comment below.)

Okay, what's a classy guy like Timothy Dalton doing with Whoopi?
She seems to be a "bad luck" charm for guys. She dated Ted Danson, and then he got caught up in that black face minstrel scandal.. She datedTimothy Dalton, and he left the James Bond series soon after. Ugh! The moral of this story?...
If you're a guy...STAY AWAY FROM Whoopi - she'll ruin your career.

She is a bright, intelligent woman with a personality and a sense of humour as well as a talented actress. So it is only logical that intelligent men should feel attracted to her. A man like Timothy Dalton can find hot chicks anywhere anytime, but he's not stupid, maybe he can appreciate brains better than curves.

He dated her for 1 year. She dated a lot of "hot" guys. It doesn't suprise me. Barbara Streisand is not a big beauty, but she dated a lot of gorgeous actors and musicians. I don't know for sure, but I suspect these guys want her to help them with their careers.

Perhaps, but that's pretty reductive. I'm thinking while Whoopi may not be a conventional beauty, she is honest, funny and intelligent---it's these qualities that draw the affections of "hot" guys.
