The scene should have never split. Raves were never the same. D&B was good for a while and H.Hardcore was crap. In my opinion it was best when it was one scene, at least then people could play what they want.
This is a good example of hardcore - D&B beats with uplifting vocals. Good times long gone!

@leemurphyhaverhill of course its who you know you cant play exclusive dubs and white labels if you aint got anyone who is gonna give you them, the guys a producer who happens to dj .. he's got his own label which has brought out some major classics by himself and other heads in the last decade alone, if that doesnt make you big i don't know what does gangster......

slipmatt should have gone drum and bass, hed be as big as Fabio, Rider and Goldie now. listen to all of his sets from the early days, and the mixing and track selection is always faultless, mixing underground tunes with full on rave smashers
