@xchlppprsx Yeah man, I got their first (I don't actually know but it had backburner) album and could dig it for a while but I just got sick of it. And the religious undertones, like screaming "lord show me the way" before a breakdown were deterrents.

@jeremessmore yea back burner was from messengers, but it wasn't there first album. they released a demo in '03 and '04, and then an EP in '04 called "Looks Fragile After All" and it was really harsh and screamy and not very melodic, then there first real album was "Thrill Seeker" in '05 and it was still pretty harsh but a definite improvement over the EP, then messengers came out and fucked shit up, then constellations came out and kept fucking shit up haha

Right after I bought deep blue I got horizons, I agree it's insane. I'm working on getting the whole song slow right now, thanks for the advice. I have listened to august burns red but I just can't get into them at all.

@jeremessmore thanks man, and yea i can actually see someon liking it if its the first parkway cd they have heard, but go listen to horizons and killing with a smile, and listen to the song "horizons", because that shit will blow your mind. and the hammer on thing is just something you get with practice, with faster stuff like this, i always get the notes down first (do everything by ear), practice it at slow speed then work my way up, youll see how that can help in my upcoming cover
