Personally I think Jim MAKES the Destroyers but then I'm a bit biased.

I like Jim. I saw him open for George a long time ago in Norfolk when he was fronting Monkey Beat. I bought his first album and still cover some of his songs in my gigs. Once I wrote a comment on Jim's guestbook and he wrote me back immediately with his phone number. I called him and he informed me he was touring with the Destroyers. He held 5 great sets for me in VA beach and called me back the day before the gig to make sure I was coming. The next night, the best concert seats ever.

I saw these guys opening for Geo. Thorogood

last week. Good blues bar-band. Did some Rory, Hendrix,.... Suhler also played lead/backup for Geo. in his "Destroyers".
