I followed everything as well, and every time I open a .php page, the server is asking if I want to download the file. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Thanks but after following step by step your instructions, finally when opening the index.php in IE, it shows just the plain text code

Thanks Dude, I've been fighting this for two days.

I followed everything every step of the way and I am only getting a blank screen. Am I doing something wrong?

It MAY work on a freshly installed server, but do not try on an existing (virtual) server... it will mess it up (major).

I've done this on many servers, fresh and otherwise... never had a problem. What went wrong for you?
