I also like to keep a palate of cheap eyeshadow with me to supplement the facepaints. Some little kids won't let you get too close to eyes, and the dry/powder eyeshadow lets me get that extra 1/8th inch closer onto eyelids :) I like it for this shadowing effect, too! NICE JOB!!

@joywindsong I just got a Ben Nye pallet and I'm loving it for the same reason...I know I hate sticky paint on my eyes so I've been using the eye shadow to start a mask or butterfly and then sponge and it's so much more comfortable...even for boys I'll do black or white and they flinch so much less.

Awesome!!! I love it, I have such a hard time doing wings. Those look great! And you both are beautiful! I will have to look into the tag splits... I wasn't wanting to pay the bucks for it. I also absolutely love the black eyeshadow idea!!! Genius, just genius!!! :)

@facepaintingparty The eyeshadow is easier for me to control. I love the TAG splits. The magpie, snake, flame and dolphin are my favorites so far. The colors are really bright and I like the longer cases. I'm a member of facepaintforum and she has a shop there that sells them with $5.00 flat shipping.
