The conductor is a younger Simon Rattle- now with the Berlin Philharmonic. Great intro. Beautiful gold and black gown giving her freedom of movement Silvia, what is she? straight into her stride with her purposeful posture and masterful technique

I think it's the way she draws out the notes, to linger a bit in emotion and to then seamlessly fade into the next... Its remarkable, it's beautiful the way the music goes through her!

The conductor is Robert Houlihan(Ireland)& the orchestra is the George Enescu in Bucharest(Romania)performed in the early 1990's.

Miss Marcovici certainly has the talent. But she lacks expression in her playing. She should be taking lessons from Itzak Perlmann. It's those damn England theatres that give off that horrible lighting. I give this performance 2 stars out of 5. Nigel Kennedy almost do a better performance. :-(
