Teena, our skies are surely a lot less sunny now that you've gone. You & your music brought so much sunshine to all of those you touched. Now that you've left us it feels as if "It's raining January though December". For one brief shining moment the world was graced with one of God's Angels. The Christmas Season wil now be a little less joyous when we are reminded of your passing. Rest eternal Teena.

My best friend was in the hospital dying and we were such fans of Tenna Mariie I had to bring this song in to him and play it. And of course he loved it as I did. He died a week later and I think of him and the irony that this song came out at that precise time. I will forever and always love Teena Marie. RIP Teena.

What can I say Teena. This song " Sunny Skies" holds such a special place in my heart and no one could have sang it the way that you did, you make me cry and smile all at the same time. You made your way into my heart forever with the way you were gifted to tell stories through song and music! I was so sad to hear of your sudden passing. I now pray most for those that were closest to you as I know this period will be difficult.
