Boeing Duveen & The Beautiful Soup (UK) released one extremely rare and collectable 45 in 1968. . . . . . . . Side A, Jabberwock - Side B, Which dreamed it. The man behind it was a certain Sam Hutt (the gynaecologist better known to many as Hank Wangford). Wangford, of course, became quite a popular country and western artist in the eighties. Some copies of the Jabberwock 45 came in picture sleeves (as is shown above) and these are particularly rare and sought-after.

  • Paisley shirt & blue velvet trousers? Sounds like "vegetable man" by Syd Barrett!

  • Man I heard this on the radio and had to look through 7 or 8 other jabberwocky songs, I never knew there were so many

  • Those of you who think the B-side to this track " wasn't very good " are high, and not in a good way.

It's The Rubble collection you are referring to which I also have. It was released as a single b/w Which Dreamed It (which wasn't very good). It was a one single thing, there was no album. They played small gigs for a short space of time. Played on Radio 1 only once (the Tony Blackburn Show). Was I in the sixties music scene? - yes but I was an innocent bystander.
